Power & LED Voltage

OctoRig supports 5V–24V addressable LED setups. The voltage supplied to the LED outputs depends on how the controller is powered:

When powered through USB-C only, the LED outputs receive 5V.
When powered through the barrel power input, the input voltage is passed through to the LED power outputs. For example, a 12V power supply provides approximately 12V to the LED outputs, while a 24V power supply provides approximately 24V.
The controller internally regulates the input voltage to the voltages required by its electronics, allowing the controller itself to operate across the supported input range.

Important: OctoRig does not convert the barrel input voltage to match your LED strips. Always use a power supply with the correct voltage for your LEDs. For example, use a 5V supply with 5V LEDs, a 12V supply with 12V LEDs, and a 24V supply with 24V LEDs.
